Matilda Magic Cup

The Magic Cup: This cup has been by far my favorite prop to design and create.  I have a passion for 3D printing and design, and designed the concept completely.  The cup was 3D printed out of PETG filament for strength and rigidity. There is a small remote control tank that is placed in a cavity within the cup. During the famous scene, Matilda can make the cup spin and dance and then drive off the desk. This whole trick is controlled off stage by a stagehand, giving the illusion to the audience that the cup is moving under the powers of Matilda.  

The cup has been used in over 60 different productions nationally and internationally!
